RAQUEL SOLIS
Since my early childhood did my birthplace - colorful Mexico - inspire me to draw and "paint", but it was not until later that I seriously started Art lessons.
I travelled with my German husband 'half the world' because of his work. And so it came that I absolved my very first lessons at the Art Academy of San Salvador
while living in Central America.
In private and public shows my works have been sold in Mexico, USA, El Salvador, Honduras, Italy and Germany.
I love to define myself as an "back to basics" artist. I paint mostly very realistic on canvas and wood. I like big colorfull paintings and paravants, from still-life to flowers, landscapes and people in oil and acrylics, but I
also love pastel crayons and water colors.
Some of my works have won prices at expositions but please judge by yourself and do pick your favourite at the gallery section.
